Kirkwood gallery Kirkwood / Carson Pass In late August, Ken visited Walter Roosli at his beautiful Swiss Chalet in the Sierras at Kirkwood, CA. When not playing dominoes, backgammon or gin rummy, Walter introduced Ken to some new hiking trails as they explored the Emigrant Trail and Carson Pass..
East Coast Visit In June, Ken and Carrie visited family in Washington DC and Ithaca NY, before spending a few days in Manhattan. Everyone was fine, and the weather was great.
Big Sur Gallery Big Sur In early May, Ken and Carrie visited Carmel and Big Sur. I consider this coastline the most beautiful meeting of mountains and sea in the world. Take a look, I suspect you'll agree. The pictures are displayed in the order taken. Note those taken at the end of each day are warmer, and the colors more vibrant.
Zion & Bryce Canyon Gallery Zion & Bryce Canyons Southern Utah is truly a land of enchantment. We thought that early spring would be a good time to visit ... before the heat of summer. But, Bryce is 9,000 feet high, so we found snow, which made for some great shots. Great hikes along and through spring streams, up hidden canyons, along steep cliffs (with chains to hold onto for safety), and great vistas. Enjoy the results.
Sculpture at 185 In September, Ken and Carrie purchased a new sculpture for their garden. It's called Impact by Micah Curtis. This gallery shows the installation and early photos of Impact. Hope you enjoy the photos as much as we enjoy the sculpture.
Fall in New Mexico In October, Ken and Carrie visited Glen and Miriam Ewing at their new home in Albuquerque. Colorful hot air balloons, brilliant aspens and cottonwoods, roasting chili peppers, wildflowers, warm days and cool evenings.
